I think that as long as you are fit and healthy, that 40 is the best time to have a baby! I am 40 and 5 months pregnant with my third daughter. I was just 18 when I had my first, and was so *NOT* ready to be a mother…financially, emotionally, and I had little patience. I did the best I could, but, I regret so many, many things. I was 27 when I had my next daughter, and things were a lot better, but, still, I feel that now, I am a far better mother that I was 11 years ago and I am much more settled, mature, and financially stable. I am a stay at home mom full time and love it, I have more patience and my health and body is the best it’s ever been. 40 is an excellent time to have a baby.
