Kendra Wilkinson had Baby Hank two weeks ago. That's like a year ago in celebrity years, right? I'm not angry about how fabulous she looks, it's nice to see she isn't totally back to pre-baby weight this soon. That would send the wrong message entirely and we all know how well that goes over with intelligent parental units such as yourself. Heh.
OK! Magazine tried so hard to be real by showing Kendra's not-yet-flat-belly rather than paint her as some kind of Super Mom who lost all the baby weight before the cord was cut, I am concerned that it's only been two weeks. Are women even allowed to exercise this early? Oh yes, we are. Heh. Unless you've had a C-section, which she did. Sit down Kendra before you rip your stitches out!
Shame on OK! for publishing this kind of thing so damn soon. I know where I was two weeks post-partum: parked on my couch with a baby on my boob, 24/7. There was no way I was walking or hauling the blender out of the cupboard to make healthy smoothies. I was tired with a capital F and still milking "pregnancy cravings" for Dairy Queen. No, I didn't have a career as a Playboy Bunny at stake, but I wouldn't be pushing myself this hard after a C-section even if I did.
I repeat: It's only been two weeks.
Before you say, "you're just jealous Karen," my jealousy only stems from this: she has way more motivation than my lazy ass. That and she claims to 'have always been athletic.' I can't even spell athletic without stopping to sound it out in my head.
Aside from petty jealousy, I am very concerned that celebrity moms are put under way too much pressure to lose baby weight. It's not healthy to be under this kind of stress so soon after having a baby.
Baby Hank is uber cute. Congrats Kendra. Now sit your ass down. Let Photoshop do the work.
