Bristol Palin will tell young people to do all of the things she didn't — for a not-so-small fee.
The mother of 16-month-old Tripp with erstwhile ex-bf Levi Johnston has signed with Single Source Speakers, her attorney said, and will ask for $15-30,000 per gig. She'll tell you all about abstinence, teen pregnancy prevention, single parenting and how to stand on stage at a major political convention and pretend not to be totally miserable.
She knows about two of those things. And I made that last one up kind of, but I'm hoping she goes there.
I am absolutely not Bristol's focus group and would much rather have the hour of my life back that I would spend in her audience doing just about anything else that didn't involve physical pain. But what of people who are? Young people?
Sure, even at 19, she's had some life experiences. She's suffered the fool that is Levi, and, well, there's her family too, I guess.
But is Bristol Palin the awkward public service announcement voice kids need to hear? Is Bristol the do-as-I-say-not-as-I-did teen ambassador anyone was looking for?
l hope against hope not, all things considered. You?
. . . . .
Laurie learned it by watching you.
