Alicia Keys loves being pregnant. She has called it ‘the most beautiful gift”. She is all preggo and singing and in love and mooning over commitment and stability and family and…..it really makes it hard for me to say that morning sickness has to suck.
And the swollen ankles.
And the constipation.
And the hormones.
And the enormous boobs, busting out of any type of containment unit.
And the excess gas.
And the heartburn.
And the back ache.
But look at her, she is so very clearly happy.
Her joy kind of makes me want to mourn my womb of emptiness.
