I recently came across some pictures of me that were taken while I was pregnant. I looked…round. Puffy. Beach ball-esque. I did not look anything like the celebrities in this list. And I suppose that’s why they’re called the beautiful people because they are, in fact, beautiful. Gag.
1. Catherine Zeta-Jones: I may not share her taste in men, but Catherine looks beautiful in her purple gown. In fact, she doesn’t look puffy at all. How is that possible?
2. Gwen Stefani: Gwen looked so good as a preggo-lady that her tummy got a kiss from Bono! Now that’s a good-looking mama-to-be.
3. Halle Berry: The jury is out on her dress. I’m not so sure I like the waterfall of blue fabric over her belly, but you can’t ignore her boobs. They’re real and they’re magnificent.
4. Jessica Alba: I love Jessica Alba in this picture. I love the color of her dress, her jewelry, her skin! I even love the Heidi hair-style. If you’re wondering what I looked like pregnant, it’s the exact opposite of this picture.
5. Nicole Kidman: Nicole often strikes me as a bit cold…but then perhaps she’s just unbearably shy. Regardless, she looked beautiful and sweet here. I’ll even forgive the strange extraneous pill-box-like buckle sitting under her boobs.
6. Amy Adams: Whenever I think of Amy Adams, I think “cute”. I’m not sure if it’s her voice or her smile, but even when she was in those last few weeks of pregnancy where you just feel like shouting “Enough already!”, she looked cute to me. And I must say that I’m impressed with her shoe choice. I wore flip-flops with my business attire because my feet were so swollen.
7. Angelina Jolie: I can’t think of a beautiful people list that these two wouldn’t show up on. They are the epitome of gorgeous and sexy. I heart them all over the place. And look at her boobs! They rival Halle Berry’s.
8. Cate Blanchett: Who wishes they could get away with wearing a dress slit to here on a regular non-pregnant day? Me! Me! Wowza, Cate, you knocked me out.

Marilyn was happy to find that are, in fact, some celebrity moms that don’t look good pregnant, but that’s for another day.
