Apparently, Thiessen was hoping to use hypnobirthing to aid with Harper Renn’s birth, but Harper had other ideas. There were complications, including the forced rupturing of Thiessen’s water and the cord being wrapped around the baby’s neck.

After 30 hours of labor, Harper Renn Smith was born via C-section and mama and baby are doing just fine.

      Oh, ha ha. Yes, she must have been a complete fool, a naive “first timer” for thinking there was a chance of having an unmedicated birth. What happened to make you so bitter and cynical?

    I took hypnobirthing classes with my first pregnancy. Not because I wanted to have a drug-free birth, but because I wanted a back-up plan just in case the drugs weren’t strong enough. True fact.
