Kramer from Seinfeld, otherwise known as Michael Richards, is being sued for beating up a photographer last month. Photographer Brendon O’Neal states that Richards approached him on a street in L.A. on August 25 in a “menacing manner… with closed fists” and proceeded to beat him. O’Neal claims Richards punched him in the face, knocked him to the ground, and then “proceeded to kick [O'Neal] numerous times, directing the blows to [O'Neal's] arms, hands, and camera.”
O’Neal claims he suffered “great mental, physical, and nervous pain and suffering.” He is suing for an unspecified amount for damages, medical expenses, and much more.
There is no explanation as to what triggered the beating or what exactly a “menacing manner” is.
Ever since the show ended, the Seinfeld crew has had a really hard time staying out of court. Price of fame? A bunch of jerks?
