5. Winona Ryder-She was beautiful and successful and a star, yet she shoplifted thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Saks Fifth Avenue. Winona was convicted of grand theft and given three years probation And with that, went her career. She has not been seen in a major motion picture since her conviction.
4. Martha Stewart-Convicted of insider trading in 2004, the most shocking thing of all was that Martha served 5 months in jail and bounced right back. With a successful television show, magazine, internet presence, it is ALMOST like this never happened.
3. Hugh Grant-Handsome, and with a gorgeous girlfriend, Hugh was picked up in 1995 for soliciting a prostitute, Divine Brown, on Sunset Boulevard. His mugshot was EVERYWHERE the next day, and that was before the internet explored. He appeared on the Tonight Show the next day, but I still don’t think we really understand why this happened.
2. Wesley Snipes-Succesful actor fails to pay taxes is a headline that is making news time and time again lately. But Wesley Snipes is currently serving 3 years in jail for it. I think we are all surprised when a celebrity actually does REAL, HARD TIME.
1. Chris Brown-Chris Brown and Rihanna seemed to be hip-hops golden couple. Until one night, when he beat her up. And the pictures where everywhere. And then all of a sudden, the images of Chris Brown, batterer, where everywhere also. While Winona Ryder can’t seem to get her career back after STEALING, Chris Brown currently has a number one single. And that just makes me sick.
