Say, that Halloween episode of Modern Family sure was something, wasn’t it? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. Because I didn’t see it. I’m at Blissdom Canada, where all the coolest and bearded-est Canadian bloggers go. So today’s going to be an open thread. I’ll provide a few thoughts on the episode next week, but until then I’m leaving it to you folks to talk it up in the comments below. Lori, Heather, Suzy Q… you know what to do.

    Claire was, as usual, crazycakes but when you have Phil literally hanging off your waist, who can blame her? Oh, Phil, you’re okay, dude, and so is your marriage. It’s your trampy older daughter you need to worry about. Get her on the pill, STAT!

    I thought the squeaky Superman thing was funny, as was Gloria’s explanation of a doggy-dog world: “It’s a byooteeful world feeled with leetle poppies!”

    Ok, that’s about all my virus-addled brain can remember.
