Court papers filed this week in California reveal that Jennifer Lopez apparently liked to… well for lack of a better word, reveal herself in public when she was Jenny on the block. Did I mention she liked to video tape it too?
Well that’s what the papers say and while I have yet to see anything, rest assured if images ever do surface I won’t seek them out. Court papers filed in California this past Wednesday used the word ‘deviant‘ to describe Jennifer Lopez’s behavior which in my books makes her a bit more likeable. Full disclosure: not a fan but this incident makes her seem a little less uptight.
Anyway. I’m actually peeved on Jennifer Lopez’s behalf over this incident because her ex-husband Ojani Noa is obviously trying to cash in on their long gone marriage and in my humble opinion, regardless of who the person is, selling personal nekkid images/tapes/sketchings/wall tapestries without the others consent is just plain dirty. Speaking of dirty, I must say it is very foolish to make these kinds of tapes (images, sketchings, wall tapestries, butter sculptures) but unless you’ve never experienced L-O-V-E, need I explain how love renders the most tightly wound of control freaks completely and utterly stupid and that’s how some sex tapes are born? I didn’t think so.
Technically this Jennifer Lopez video doesn’t sound much like a sex tape. Apparently there is 21 hours of ‘home movies’ including the alleged incident of Jennifer perpetrating a self-inflict upskirt in public while on a scooter and having Noa tape it. Come to think of it, now that I’ve typed that sentence out it does sound a little bit deviant/exhibitionist. But that is neither here nor there because in my books Jennifer and Ojani were committed to each other during the filming of said tape and I’m sure promises were made somewhere at sometime about respect and privacy. So while divorce ends their bond, what happened in Vegas, stays in Vegas, know what I mean?
Noa now wants to release these tapes which shouldn’t be a huge surprise since he has tried similar stunts before. He tried to publish a book about their marriage, he was stopped. He tried to make a movie called ‘How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J-Lo and Ojani Noa Story‘, he was stopped. Doesn’t this guy learn? In 2007 a court-appointed arbitrator gave a permanent injunction that ordered Noa from ‘criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging‘ Jenny from the Block and I’m sure this tape of Jennifer showing off some of her famous asset would fall into one of these orders.
I feel bad for Jennifer Lopez which is a statement I never thought I’d type. At least she has the money to throw at this problem and I’m sure Mark Anthony knows some undead who could fix this permanently. And even without the aid of brains sucking zombies I’m sure they have a legal team that can kick Noa’s legal teams butt. But despite her ability to fight it, I still feel bad because sometime in the future little Emme and Max are going to Google mom and ugh if that’s what they find.
Bad enough they might find Gigli.
