Last week, Jim Carrey posted a love letter to Emma Stone. If you haven’t seen it yet, have you been living under a rock? Yes? Here it is. The rest of us will wait while you watch it, loser:
Caught up with the rest of us now? Well, here we are, less than a week later, and there are a slew of parodies and responses to the video already cropping up online, and, as can be expected when the general public is allowed near a computer and a webcam, most of them are complete and utter shit. But I dredged through that shit just for you, gentle reader, and here are the few that rose to the top:
First, there is the requisite “Jim Carrey talks out of his ass” video. Same audio, funny video, gets old after four seconds:
Next, we have someone who thinks he looks like a young Jim Carrey but in actuality looks more like a young Mr. Ed:
Ah, and now we get into the meat. Here’s one woman, bitter, sarcastic, cute, and funny, expressing her love to Jim Carrey:
And a cute British blond who just learned how to play the guitar sings him a little song:
No group of responses would be complete without a girl expressing her inappropriate love for Emma Stone:
But this one is my favorite. Forget Jim Carrey, forget Emma Stone. Comedian Adam Murray expresses his love for Betty White with earnestness and sincerity:
And in, celebrity parody news, my least favorite video out there so far is Kathy Griffin literally reading off a sheet of paper as she tries to declare her love for Justin Bieber. It had such potential, Kathy, but you dropped the ball on this one:
I guess all that’s left is to declare MY love for Emma Stone. Emma, I love redheads and I have no problem going downtown, if you know what I mean. I always smell nice and I’m eager to please. What do you say?
