16 and Pregnant…and running a drug den on an airforce base?

In a sad turn that you might call Breaking [The Record For] Bad [Decisions], the AP reports that 2 alums of MTV’s reality hit 16 and Pregnant have been arrested in Arkansas for drug possession, maintaing a drug premises, and child endangerment.  Joshua Rendon and Ebony Jackson-Rendon, you are 19 and screwed.

The couple’s 2-year-old daughter—who, like the international loathing of New Jersey, was born on MTV—has been removed to state custody.  Police say they found drug parephrenalia and a house in “deplorable condition,” filled with human feces, animal waste, and maggots.

Oh yeah and all that drama?  Happened on an Air Force base.  Rendon is an enlisted serviceman.

    Man, that’s too bad. I watch 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom far too much, but remember thinking that these two had really gotten their stuff together pretty well. Hopefully, it’s just an isolated breakdown in judgment and life skills.

    I remember seeing them on the follow up special.  They seemed to actually have it together.  I’m surprised and  sad for them.  I guess it just goes to show they are smart enough to clean up for the cameras but not in real life.  Sad
