Melrose Place alum Heather Locklear was rushed to a Thousand Oaks, California hospital Thursday night (Jan. 12) following a call from her sister. The 50-year-old actress and mom is stable but was kept overnight. A police department source tells TMZ.com that Locklear may have mixed prescription drugs and alcohol.
I'm not mixing pills and booze and I don't look 1/2 as good...and it pisses me off.
Locklear has been rumored to be beside hereself over her November split with reunited-and-it-doesn’t-feel-so-good fiancé Jack Wagner. Wagner and Locklear co-starred on Melrose Place and were both 80s sex symbols (although Locklear had the good sense to NOT record an obnoxious ballad and become a feathery-locked one hit wonder, JACK).
And all I need is to get this song out of my head.

But anyway…
I’ll be honest, I struggled against adding “Amidst Rumors Of Pills And Booze” to my blog title, but Heather Locklear does have a 12-year-old daughter with ex-husband/rocker Richie Sambora. I thought I’d try and act like a mom myself and spare her one headline.
That being said: this isn’t Locklear’s first rumored bout with pills and drink. In 2008 there was a rumored suicide attempt. In 2009 there was a DUI charge, later reduced to reckless driving. She was also arrested on suspicion of a hit and run in 2010. So, needling headlines aside, I will put my uninformed nose in her business and say: from one mom to another, get help if you need it.
