Well. This is weird.
TMZ reports that Nick Stahl, whom you may remember from such films as Terminator 3, Sin City, The Thin Red Line…or maybe even as the little boy in The Man Without A Face, has gone missing. His wife Rose filed a missing person report with the LAPD. He was possibly last seen on May 9th in the…oh, dear…Skid Row area of Los Angeles. There are also “court papers” that mention concerns about possible drug use. Oh, very much dear.
Nick is 32 years old, and has been acting since he was 12. The aforementioned Mel Gibson Wears Prosthetics And Avoids All The Unpleasantness Of The Original Novel film was his big break at age 13, and he’s worked seemingly non-stop ever since. Anybody remember the gorgeously weird WTFedness that was HBO’s Carnivàle? And he just appeared in an episode of Showtime’s House of Lies, and the instant he showed up on screen I was immediately like, “Carnivàle! And people bitched about Lost! At least that show had an ending besides DEAD CORN AND THE BLACK OIL FROM X-FILES.”
Nick and his wife have been married since 2009, and have an almost-two-year-old daughter named Marlo. He tweets really adorable photos of his family quite often, but his account has been silent since May 1st. Oh dear, again. I do not like this at all.
But still. Hoping for a good, happy ending to this one. CALL YOUR WIFE, NICK. SHE’S WORRIED, OKAY? ME TOO.
