Here’s a list of the “Best Shows On TV” that I’m not watching, but should be…shouldn’t I?  Which ones am I missing?  Because, you know, I’m not overwhelmed enough with just this list.

People are aggressively devoted to this show. It's crazy. And it sounds like it'd be right up my alley! Takes place in Kentucky. I was born and now live in Kentucky! Stars Timothy Olyphant. I've been an OlyPHAN since Deadwood. He wrassles with violent, hillbilly drug dealers on a daily basis. I tolerate unsavories at my neighborhood Kroger. The ones that reek of Basic Menthols, have "Poo Bear" tattooed on their necks, and drink the off-brand version of Mountain Dew. Must make effort to catch up before next season.

    Breaking Bad is completely awesome.  I so cannot wait until it’s back on this summer!  The season 4 finale was LEGENDARY.

    I do find GoT kinda tedious.  But maybe I’m not paying close enough attention. 

    ADORE Downton Abbey and am trying to remember why I haven’t finished up season 2 yet. 

    Oh yeah.  It’s because of “Doctor Who”, which is another show on that’s not on your list but people should watch.  I’ve been getting my fix via Netflix though.  What did we ever do before Netflix?

    Veep is really funny, mostly because Julia Louis-Dryfus has amazing comic timing.  And it keeps moving enough so the political stuff doesn’t get boring and tedious.  Also, Justified is awesome.  Olyphant is great, the characters are funny and weird and insane, and it’s just a badass show.

    The only show I’ve seen from this list is Downton Abbey. I don’t have cable but I do have Netflix, so there’s not much excuse. Besides the above-mentioned Doctor Who. And Sherlock. Ohmahholyhell, I am in love with that show.

    That’s a darn good list.  GoT is an all time favorite, as is Downton.  You may like Nurse Jackie (SHO) and God knows I love me some Strike Back on MAX (think of it as Jason Bourne meets the new Bond but less classy and with full-frontal.  Also, lots of grunting.  It rules) and Spartacus on Starz.

    Yes, you should be most of these (well, I haven’t seen Justified or Breaking Bad, but I hear universally good things and they’re on my list). There’s plenty of sex and violence in GoT to distinguish it from LOTR.

    I think you can probably take a pass on Girls, though. I’m personally not a fan.
