We know you, dear MamaPop readers, have lives. Places to go, things to do, jobs to keep and what-not. Which is why we now offer you a look back on the week that was on MamaPop by way of our most popular posts of the past seven days. Please to enjoy.
I’m sending my oldest daughter to sleepover camp for the very first time this summer. I probably should be kind of an emotional wreck, but mostly I’m just ridiculously excited for her. I spent 11 summers at sleepover camp in Wisconsin and I have spent a lifetime living vicariously through a copious amount of summer camp movies.
It’s been what you might call a trying week: I’m up to my eyeballs in work deadlines, still reeling from wasting $13 on Prometheus, and a wee bit hypersensitive thanks to losing a lot of sleep [over said deadlines and said IMAX ticket]. Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 17th. Shopping for Father’s Day always illustrates to me how lazy and unimaginative the greeting card and gift industry is when it comes to men.
