Today’s Chatter Box leads with a bummer, as we learn Sylvester Stallone‘s 36-year-old son Sage was found dead in his home last Friday.
In a statement released to TMZ, the 66-year-old actor said, “When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.”
Stallone also requested that news outlets stop with the “speculating and questionable reporting” regarding the cause of Sage’s untimely death.
“This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives….Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”
MamaPop extends our heartfelt condolences to Stallone and his family. The loss of a child is a tragedy no matter at what age and regardless of the cause. RIP, Sage.

In far less tragic but still deeply upsetting news, Michael Lohan has fathered another child he can spend the next 18 years fucking up. On-again-off-again girlfriend Kate Major is about three months pregnant with Lohan’s fifth child, despite the fact that a restraining order she had against her baby daddy was only recently lifted, meaning Lohan, (totally true fun fact: “Lohan” is Old Irish for “Klassy”) was in violation of the order at the time of conception. You may remember Michael and Kate from their appearances on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab, so if you saw that, you know the latest baby Lohan is poised to grow up in a really loving and supportive environment.

Katie Holmes has enrolled Suri in the prestigious Catholic private school that gave us Lady Gaga and Nicky Hilton. Suri will attend school at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan. Also, in case you were worried Katie would be spoiling her six-year-old daughter to make up for the divorce, Holmes denied Suri a puppy while they browsed at a Manhattan pet shop this weekend, leading to the tears and histrionics that are typical of a six-year-old who has just been told, “no, honey, you can’t have that puppy.”

I’ve never been much of a 50-Cent fan, but the hip-hop artist is earning major points with me for standing up for fellow artist Frank Ocean, who recently came out as bisexual. Much like the country music community, the hip-hop/rap scene is notoriously homophobic, so Ocean’s coming out was not without professional risk. 50, however, is standing up for his peer. The “In Da Club” artist told MTV UK: “Anyone that has an issue with Frank Ocean is an idiot. I think Frank Ocean is a talented artist, I think he’s created material that made me know his name, that impressed me, with things he said on a song like ‘Novacane.’ ”
