Kristen Stewart Fired From ‘Snow White’ Sequel For Having Vagina?

Ohmygawd!  Did Twilight‘s Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart break-up?

I have to Twi-hard to care about this.

Maybe you heard that Pattinson’s long-time girlfriend/costar Stewart had an affair with her married Snow White and the Hunstman director Rupert Sanders.  Married as in “married to Stewart’s Snow White onscreen mom, Liberty Ross.” 22-year-old Stewart did a very age-appropriate thing on the heels of her public indiscretion: she wrote a cringeworthy letter, pouring her heart out to Pattinson.  And, sure, it’s unusual to do that publicly – but tell me that any college girl you know wouldn’t hold a press conference after a bottle of Boone’s Farm if she thought anyone would listen?

Now that you’re caught up…

You know, in case you’ve been paying attention to piddling matters like hate crimes and gun control. Which was always the headline BELOW KRISTEN AND R-PATZ.

…let’s chat about the latest development.  The Hollywood Reporter is reporting (like they do) that Kristen Stewart has been fired from a planned Snow White and the Huntsman sequel.  Instead we’d be treated to And the Huntsman, meaning a follow-up film focused on Chris Hemsworth’s character.  Other media outlets are saying that the plan for a sequel was always to focus on Chris Hemsworth.  Snow White could appear in the sequel, says an industry insider.  I presume she will appear via a glossy picture of Kristen Stewart mounted on a popsicle stick that audiences can hold up any time they think she should be in a scene.

If you move the stick up and down, she gallops!

Here’s what bugs me: there are several sources suggesting that Rupert Sanders is still attached to direct a Snow White sequel, even following Radar Online reports that Sanders’ wife forbade him to remain involved.  Is it even a question that, if you fire Kristen Stewart for having an affair with the director, you fire the director, too?  Or is her vagina such a dangerous instrument that studios won’t insure it, while Sanders’ penis is left to roam free?

Artist’s rendering.

Let’s be clear: I’m not wild about Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders dicking over their loved ones but it’s also none of my business.  They didn’t commit a violent act against anyone, they don’t spew hate speech in public, etc.  For the record, I don’t know if we can fire those offenders (Mel Gibson, Roman Polanski) either but it sure feels nice to hate ‘em.

But what’s good for the goose should be good for the gander.  Correct me if I’m wrong but Brad Pitt, Robin Williams, and Jude Law haven’t lost a lot of film work from their cheating escapades, right?  And their cheating (or any male actor being cheated on) isn’t the one thing we hear about them at the LEAD. OF. EVERY. NEWS. STORY. EVER.

So why are we singling out Kristen Stewart again?  How silly of me to forget that only male actors can be working cheaters.

    Don’t you mean “Ermahgerd!!!”?

Wait, what. Robin Williams?! What. No. There are now cracks in my world view. Anyway, I don’t think the singling out of Kristen has anything to do with the fact that she has a vagina spread open like a flower for those over 40 who wish for it, but the fact that she is very famous and super hip with the people who buy the magazines who write about it. If they aren’t going to make money writing about it, they won’t write it. I think business is key here. Let us not forget the public flogging Bill Clinton took when he was found to have cheated on his wife. I am fairly sure he has a peen (although, the fact that he had to use a cigar for insertion into Monica does call into question that assumption).

Firstly – BLARGH. I SO did not need that visual. (Again. After reading the transcripts in full, all those years ago.)

Secondly – If I am remembering correctly (after reading the transcripts in full, all those years ago), he used a cigar so he could do the whole “I did not have sex with that woman” thing. HE didn’t. His CIGAR did.

Aaaand I now need a drink.

OMG I had never heard any of that and now I am going to THROW UP

Maybe they fired her because she can’t act and this whole kerfluffle just coincided?

Probably not. But how is her picture on a Popsicle stick different from her ACTUALLY being there…?

I don’t get the whole thing over Kristen Stewart’s affair at all. I mean, actresses have been sleeping with their directors since there were directors to sleep with.

I don’t condone cheating, and doing it publicly is a crappy thing to do to anyone, but seriously, she doesn’t need to be flogged for the rest of her life for making a mistake that I’m sure many, many more Hollywood-ers have made. She made a mistake, she didn’t kill anyone, she didn’t commit a crime, move on and let it go.

For the record, I am totally opposed to firing someone from their job for something that has nothing to do with their job (see: morality clauses, etc.).

However, I am totally for a movie that focuses solely on Chris Hemsworth. Doing anything. At all.

I just died a little. It’s not often I chuckle-and-snort alone, in an empty house.

This might be my favorite account of this whole Stewart ridiculousness. Snarky in all the right places.

I’m going to be in the minority on this one and say I LOVED Kristen in Snow white. Loved, loved, loved! I thought she was perfect for it.

What this has to do with what she does with her vagina…. I can’t see a connection. At all.

I think they are unfairly bashing her bc she’s a girl, I 100% agree with that. As far as women seem to have gotten in Hollywood, behind the scenes I am sure it hasn’t changed all that much. I think he is applauded for fooling around with a young girl and she is branded as a cheater and a bad person. There has always been and always will be double standards for that.

I’ve always had an issue with the woman in an affair being more vilified than a man would be. I saw a lot of vitriol back in the day against LeAnn Rimes, including plenty of statements about how she shouldn’t be hired for stuff anymore, but none of the same sentiment toward Eddie Cibrian. They were equally culpable in that affair (perhaps he was even more in the wrong, since he had children who would be negatively affected by the whole mishegoss), but she got called a homewrecker and a slut while he was like Teflon from any blame.

I think the crazy Kristen hate has more to do with how much people liked her before this…which was not much. (I never hated her or loved her. But I did dislike her lip biting.) Her attitude alone seemed to anger people. And now they have a REAL reason to hate her.

How many 22 yr olds have cheated on their boyfriends? Several. Did she make a mistake? Yep, and I bet she learns from it. She does NOT deserve to be fired. The director was married, with children, and should have known better. If anyone should be vilified it should be him. Why isn’t anyone claiming that he took advantage of a young girl? Why is it always okay for guys to cheat, but never girls. (I’m in the “wrong for guys and girls to cheat” camp.)

OK…I’m done. Just angered by this today.
