This is our fourth year throwing Sparklecorn at BlogHer, and even after all that time we’re still shocked and amazed when we finally see the photographer’s photos from the evening. Every single person in each and every photo—whether they’re pictured dancing, mugging for the camera, or engaged in vry vry imprtnt socializing bidness— radiates such joyous abandon and ecstatic happiness that it seems almost unreal to us that we get the honor of hosting such a fabulous shindig every year.
But Sparklecorn isn’t about us. It isn’t about MamaPop, or BlogHer, or any other single individual or group or website. It’s about you, the people who set that shit off and made balloon unicorn horns and sparkly ear-of-corn costumes (YESSSS!), who shoved your faces full of cake and Glitter Bombs and danced until your feet were sore and blistered. YOU are Sparklecorn. And we’re so glad you came.
Thanks to the lovely and talented Kate Inglis—the brilliant eye that snapped these amazing photos. And, as always, many thanks to the beautiful and talented ladies of BlogHer, without whom none of this would be possible!
