I know! SHOCKING, RIGHT? That right there is none other than international pop star Lady Gaga, who responded to the most recent rumors of weight gain by posting unedited photos of herself to her website, so that we could all point and laugh at just how incredibly unhealthy she’s become, and judge accordingly. Except–OOPSIES–she’s not unhealthy, just perfectly normal, so why did she feel pressured to prove this to us? OH, THAT’S RIGHT: because our culture loves nothing more than ignoring someone’s talent and worth as a FUCKING PERSON in favor of gossiping about what size jeans they might be wearing these days, and FUCKING HELL, I’m going to hide my daughter in the foothills of the Himalayas when she reaches puberty because FUCK. THIS. SHIT.

Gaga had apparently been targeted by the worthless, shit-for-brains media, over what was perceived to be a bit of weight gain (an actual person? Gaining weight? UNHEARD OF, I SAY), and instead of weathering this latest round of bullshit in silence, she posted a series of photos to her website along with the confession that she’s been battling anorexia and bulimia since age 15. Subtext: THANKS A HEAP, COCKSUCKERS, FOR ADDING SOME FUEL TO THE DISORDERED EATING FIRE.

Not that it matters to the hateful fucks who like to call her fat–whatever the fuck that’s supposed to mean or do–but Lady Gaga looks nothing but healthy to me in the photos. In fact, I would like to take this opportunity to ask her if she wouldn’t mind trading me asses, because DAMN.

Some might say she should have ignored the latest shitstorm surrounding whatever weight she may have gained (seeing as how it is NONE OF ANYONE’S FUCKING BUSINESS), but I think she made a bold statement here, and I think she did it for the benefit of her fans, a great deal of whom are young and undoubtedly struggling with body issues of their own. On Twitter, Gaga posted a pic of Marilyn Monroe with the following quote: “To all the girls who think you’re ugly because you’re not a size 0, you’re the beautiful ones. It’s society who’s ugly,” and then went on to add “Thank you to my fans who love me no matter what and know the meaning of real beauty and compassion. I really love you.”

    I saw her in concert a month ago (almost literally a month ago!) and she was tiiiiny. She put her hands on her waist and it was a wee bit frightening how little it was. I’m surprised she’s managed to put on some in such a little period of time (she was really teeny tiny!!!) and I am glad that she is maybe beating her eating disorders. She is beautiful and her concert was amazing, inspiring and made me spend good money on a tshirt with a half motorocycle, half unicorn on. I respect her very much! Edit: May also say that the way she spoke to the crowd during the concert makes me think that she is as sweet a person as they come.

      Maybe I’m naive, but I honestly think she genuinely cares about and appreciates her fans. For someone who wears giant wigs and meat dresses, I find her somehow very real and relatable.

        I felt like she cared at the concert. I’m not a huge Lady Gaga fan but she really blew me away that night. I think she genuinely cares about what she does and who takes part in it.

          Yes! I saw her in concert and came away with a ton of respect for her. She puts on an amazing show, ACTUALLY SINGS and actually really cares about making her fans happy. I had so much fun and would see her show again.

          And yeah. She’s the size of my pinkie finger. I saw the “fat” photos and they were obviously ‘shopped and distorted. So, so stupid.

    When people call folks like Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera “fat,” I pretty much just want to give up, because if that’s the case, than those same people must think I belong in a circus side show.

      I can’t even BEGIN to tell you how insane it drives me that ALL of Christina Aguilera’s recent press has been about her body. Uh…have we all conveniently forgotten how FUCKING RIDICULOUSLY WELL that girl can SING?! Like, maybe we should be talking about when she might release new music? Nah, that’s boring. Let’s make horrible comments about her weight, which is not only a non-issue but none of anyone’s fucking business because she is not a professional Size 4, she’s a FUCKING MUSICIAN.

        I have no issue with Xtina’s body. What I do have issues with are her ridiculously small, unflattering and age-inappropriate costumes. She needs to put the boobs AWAY and stop wearing what amounts to a sparkly leotard. She can still be sexy and hot but it seems she’s stuck thinking she’s still 19. Kinda like Avril Lavigne.

    I won’t lie, I’ve never understood the draw of Lady Gaga (usually referred to me as GAGa). However? I have this sudden, surprising, great respect for her. She has struggled for years with an eating disorder, and is prevailing! She’s showing the world that she’s not going to be bullied by the fucked-up media!

    Also? Uhhhh…where’s the fat? I mean, WHERE??!?? She doesn’t even have a tiny hint of a belly. She has an incredible (albeit TINY) body. Size 2, I’m guessing. W.T.F., MEDIA?!?

    yeah she not toned that’s for sure, especially for a drug addict. needed to exercise more, get out in the sun, enjoy life instead of being a morbid drug user reveling in teenage girls admiration. hollywood is a fast downward spiral. ofcourse she overdoed and died. what other end is there for someone with those weaknesses. oh and back to the topic. she’s not fat. not toned and maybe big birth giving hips etc and her titties are small so it makes her look fatter but i wouldn’t hit it.
