This just in [time to be one year late]! Stop the presses [and then start them again when you realize it's 2012]! Victoria’s Secret had two pregnant models walk in their annual holiday fashion show [a year ago] last night (Nov. 8)!

Stick with me, friends, this gets trés meta. So FoxNews.com posted this headline this morning. Maybe, like me, you saw it atop your Google entertainment headlines.
“Wow!” you marveled, “Two pregnant super models knocked up and rocking out to a fetish-y audience just in time for the holidays! This has struck a blow for feminism! Or misogyny! Or babies who like to wear lingerie! Or fashion! Or models! Or people who are super bored!”
Here’s what I marveled at: (1) “The Victoria’s Secret Holiday Spanktacular is still a thing?” and (2) “Two years in a row of pregnant lingerie models in the VS Fashion Show? Ladies, I know modeling is a competitive industry, but there are children at stake here.”
Then I read the article–nearly always sorta my third step in being a professional non-journalist lady–and realized, this didn’t happen again this year. It happened last year. At this year’s show, professional hotstepper Adriana Lima walked the catwalk eight weeks after giving birth.
So Fox News, picking up the story from SodaHead.com, wrote it’s own totally misleading headline. The SEO Gods smiled on said misleading headline and POOF! the incorrect headline is Number One with a bullet on Google Entertainment.
Wait. Fox News disregarded time and space and reality and reading. Fox News wrote a misleading outdated headline about women’s bodies and unborn babies and it enjoys a brief holiday at the top of the interwebz. My Fox News did all that?
Well, that just seems wildly out of character.
