ARK Music Factory, whom you may remember from such YouTube Abominations as “Friday” and “It’s Thanksgiving“, is back in the autotune saddle AGAIN. This time, however, there is no drumstick microphone and it’s actually a cover of an actual existing not-terrible song.
But don’t worry, it’s still classic ARK, with inexplicably weird facial expressions, a disturbing lack of pants in the first half, and…a spatula microphone.
I am looking forward to 2013 and for ARK’s next offerings, which I imagine will look something like this:
- It’s New Year’s Eve (noisemaker microphone)
- It’s the Day After New Year’s Eve (Tylenol bottle microphone)
- It’s Stephen Foster Memorial Day (sung to the tune of Oh! Susanna; banjo microphone)
- OMGroundhog! (Bill Murray Bobblehead microphone)
- It’s Valentine’s Day (red carnation microphone)
- Monday (hairbrush microphone)
- It’s St. Patrick’s Day (ARK-founder Patrice Wilson dressed as a leprechaun microphone)
- Purim Time (spatula microphone returns while singer bakes hamentashen, but it’s okay because different audiences)
- Gotta Pay, Gotta Gotta Pay Ur Taxes (stack of money microphone)
- It’s Administrative Professional’s Day (office supply microphones)
- Tuesday (Sharpie microphone)
- It’s Easter (chocolate rabbit microphone, until singer eats it while winking)
- It’s Talk Like A Pirate Day (peg leg microphone)
- It’s Flag Day (abortions for some, miniature American flag microphones for all)
- Wednesday (shoe microphone)
- Happy Birthday, Mr. America (sparkler microphone)
- It’s Daylight Savings Time (clock microphone)
- Thursday (microphone-microphone, because it’s like, a serious ballad)
