Among the many things that make HBO‘s Game Of Thrones the coolest show on TV: its stirring theme music. Your true GoT Nerd never fast-fowards through the credits; nope, he or she watches ‘em, in part to see which new city, castle or realm shows up in the little pop-up 3D model of Westeros, but mostly to listen to those awesome strings. Again, not sure if the girls should quit their day jobs (assuming, of course, that they’re not beheaded or suffer some other horrid fate, which tends to happen to characters on that show), although DJ Isaac’s pretty good at beatboxing. (I wanted him to bust out with a “Hodor! Hodor! Huh-huh-huh-huh-Hodor!”) All of this is good fun, and serves as a reminder that Season 3 starts on March 31, which is still a couple of months away. As they say in King’s Landing, that is whack, yo.
