Jet Blue Flight Attendant Might Get Reality Show

Steven Slater, the Jet Blue flight attendant who infamously quit his job by announcing his resignation, which was cushioned by many expletives, over the plane’s PA, grabbing some beers, and sliding down the inflatable emergency slide has been fully absorbed into zeitgeist. Slater has reportedly been offered a reality show deal, which is the ultimate validation that one has done something utterly useless or stupid. More »

First Trailer for Christina Aguilera’s Burlesque Released

SnarkyAmber first alerted me to the existence of an upcoming Christina Aguilera vehicle called Burlesque a little over a month ago. The trailer has now been released and Burlesque will open on Thanksgiving. Watching Aguilera attempt to act and Cher attempt to squeeze dialogue through her “mouth” sounds like the perfect cure for a turkey and sweet potatoes hangover to me. More »
