American Idol "Idol Gives Back" Results Show Update

SO! The upshot? They didn't send anyone home. And I don't know about you, but I FEEL CHEATED. However, they did redeem themselves slightly by offering the viewers this:

"Better than Sanjaya"! Bwahahaahaa!

So what did you guys think of last night's show? Favorite and least favorite moments?

he's awesome.

Tracey

jack black is my hero.

Yeah, we watched it on TIVO later. And I'm glad. Because I hate to sound mean, but it was boring. Except Il Divo (or whatever they're called). They were dreamy. But that nearly started a full-on moment of marital discord (hubs was holding the remote, need I say more?).

I think the contestants knew that nobody was going home.

Cheryl

My favorite part was the Simpsons satire.

LOVED Kelly Clarkson and Josh Groban with the African Kids Choir!

While Clarkson was singing hubby and I looked at each other and said "OMG SHE REMINDS ME OF JANICE JOPLIN!"

lol

I thought it was good. I was expecting typical overdone Idol, but I thought it was good. And for a good cause.

The Simpsons parody with Lisa acting like Paula "I love dogs!!" was awesome!

Back off- Jack Black is all mine. He was singing that song to me.

Kyle and his rose were cracking me up.

I saw two minutes. The two minutes where Paula was at the school and the little girl who liked to dance burst into tears. I had to stop watching because I threw up. Too bad I didn't see Jack Black first, it'd have made it worth it. Sounds like it was actually pretty good.
