Lindsay Lohan Got Smashed, Then Crashed and Dashed

Lindsay Lohan is the latest casualty of being too young, too rich, too drunk, and too stupid. Early Friday morning, after a night of hard partying at L.A.'s Les Deux and the Skybar, Lindsay crashed her convertible Mercedes into a tree on Sunset Blvd. and then fled the scene.

Police tracked the 20-year-old to Century City Hospital where they charged her with a hit-and-run. Presumably, DUI and illegal drug possession charges will follow pending "blood test results". In a press conference yesterday, the officer admitted to finding "a usable amount of cocaine" in Lindsay's car.

"Lindsay Lohan is likely to face cocaine possession charges after the drug was found following a car crash in Beverly Hills early [Friday].

The Georgia Rule actress was not seriously injured in the 5:30 a.m. crash on Sunset Boulevard, but she was taken to Century City Hospital for treatment to her chest, Lt. Mitch McCann said during a press conference.

What McCann described as a "usable amount" of cocaine was recovered during the investigation.

Lindsay was driving her black Mercedes convertible when she clipped the curb and hit bushes on Sunset Boulevard. McCann said she was "quickly transported to the hospital by an associate" who was driving a different car. Lindsay's car received "major damage," McCann said. Police charged her with DUI at the hospital, and McCann said: "additional chages may be filed."

Lindsay had been at Les Deux nightclub, and then went on to a private party in the Hollywood Hills, and to the Skybar at the Mondrian hotel, In Touch has learned. She went home and then decided to go out again, and that is when she got into the accident at the junction of Sunset Boulevard and Foothill Drive. The accident comes just 14 weeks after Lindsay, who at 20 is still too young to drink legally, left rehab."

I am SO disturbed at a 20 year old is hanging out in clubs -- ESPECIALLY one that just left rehab. You know, at this point I have no pity for her. None at all. If you want people to treat you like an independent, grown up person you need to pony up and take responsiblity for you actions. All she has done, to my mind, is act like a spoiled brat for whom the rules, and the law for that matter, do not count. I really do hope that she and Paris have to serve some real time, they both need a real lesson.
