Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Do New York

The cutie pair have been rockin' their way through New York City this week, hunting for an apartment.

While Nicole shopped NYC and grabbed lunch with pal Mischa Barton, Joel managed to appear on some wannabe MTV show with the rest of Good Charlotte, and guest DJ'd at the Pourhouse. At every turn Joel's been talking all week long about how easy Nicole makes pregnancy look -- but his expressions of love and admiration haven't stopped her from banning him from taking photos with female fans. Hormones, anyone?

Oh yeah, and it would appear that the rocker boy might be popping the question any day now.

Call me crazy, but I think I may be getting behind this couple. Or maybe I'm just happy girlfriend finally looks healthy! Too bad it took a baby to get her to eat.

My husband has a fit and changes if we are wearing the same color shirt and pants. Did Nicole and her man mean to coordinate their ensembles? She does look cute though. Not really digging the big white sunglasses. But what do I know, they are probably $500 a pair made by some fabulous designer.

I just want to know how she can wear such high heels when pregnant. When I was pregnant, I was lucky to wear anything other than the totally-non-hip sneakers.
