First Led Zeppelin, Now the Sex Pistols

220pxsex_pistols It hasn't been all that long since the Sex Pistols last played together (it was in 2003) but nonetheless, it's not something that happens every weekend.

That said, it's with great pleasure that I announce that the Pistols will indeed be re-grouping for one concert to mark the 30th anniversary of their only album, "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" which is regarded as one of rock and roll's most influential albums EVER (and is being re-released for the thirty year anniversary).

Obviously, bass player and punk icon Sid Vicious will not be in attendance due to his fatal heroin overdose in 1979 but his predecessor, Glen Matlock, will be there along with original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook and the always cordial John Lydon AKA Johnny Rotten.

Announced by the band on New Musical Express' website, the only concert will take place at London's Brixton Academy on Nov. 8.
