Here we are, nearly at the end of fall premiere week, and I'm feeling fairly mixed about what I've seen. There was nothing that really blew me away (although How I Met Your Mother was fabulous, and Bionic Women does look quite good), and several shows actually left me feeling let down.
Rockin' her newfound stardom at Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood party, Miley looked super cute (although much older than her 14 years) and fielded the rumors of her growing belly with class. For more of the newest Disney starlet to come under srutiny, follow the jump!

If you've been waiting impatiently for the new Wes Anderson film "The Darjeeling Limited" -- which will begin its release in New York tomorrow -- I have good news! On Wednesday of this week, Anderson made available for download a free 13-minute long prequel to the film entitled "Hotel Chevalier," which was made about a year prior to "Darjeeling." Recommended Book or Publication: I've been too busy to devote any time to an actual book, so I've been particularly enjoying my New Yorker subscription this month. Everyone probably already knows how great this magazine is, but it's just a terrific general interest magazine (great for commuters, great in the, uh, bathroom), and my only complaint is that I can't read one week's issue before the following week's arrives. I always go straight for the TV show, movie, and/or book reviews in the back of the issue and then work my way forward.
Recommended Song or Album: John Coltrane's My Favorite Things is a great album for the fall. I know a lot of jazz snobs enthusiasts will roll their eyes at this recommendation because chances are, if you've set foot in a Starbucks* or similar coffee house in the past, oh, decade, you've probably heard a good chunk of this album. And they're right: the coffee houses love them some Coltrane. But here's what I recommend you do: get this album and listen to it in the car while driving around an area with a great fall foliage display. Your soul will thank you.

Because a visit to his new website, Meet Joe Francis, might make you throw up in your mouth a little — or a lot.
Complete with his "story" (note all the baby pictures...AWWWW) and a lot of whining about his legal problems, Girls Gone Wild mogul Joe Francis has put up his own web site so we can get to know the softer side of Joe and presumably, feel sorry for him. *snort*
Touting the launch Thursday of meetjoefrancis.com, Francis writes in an email:
"I'm sure that once you learn the story and understand the circumstances that brought me to this point, you'll be as outraged as I am"
This week: Nancy seems to gain some freedom from her troubles, but that will prove to be short-lived. Isabelle exposes the real homosexual agenda (ie, steal cute girls from the boys), and Agrestic and Majestic are soon to be one in a new powerhouse of little boxes and ticky tacky.
Nice!!! It's about time she got mad at him, told him to stuff it! Of course it's all for show, as they were being eclipsed by Brangelina.

ANTM wants to teach us LESSONS this cycle, y'all. Important lessons. The environment is good and we should all do good things to keep it good, like have grass growing in our cars. And stuff. Smoking is bad and will kill you and kill your friends and kill your baby and even worse, will make you all ugly. And stuff. People with autism autism autism can be totally hot. I know! And Tyra Banks will take your positive sunny attitude and run it over with her environmentally-friendly car.
Next week: models, nicotine withdrawals, Jenah's giant teeth and a very good likelihood that Bianca will roll her eyes at someone.
TV Show: It's premiere week -- OMG, there are too many shows to count!! If I had to name just one, it would be How I Met Your Mother. I thought this show may have peaked last season, but the new season premiere makes me think it's still getting better. And better. (Although Alyson Hannigan's hair has officially become more interesting than she is.)These people know funny.
Paris Hilton is going to be travelling to Rwanda in November to help families and children in need.
