Kathy Griffin Is On the A List
Am I the only one madly in love with Kathy Griffin? If you'd asked me a year ago, I would have said that her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. BUT, then I saw "My Life on the D List" and let me tell you, Tivo brought us together in a beautiful way.
Speaking of being brought together, rumor has it that just one year after a bitter a divorce from husband Matt Moline, Kathy Griffin may be ready to walk down the aisle again. With gazillionaire Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak no less! (And we all know how Kathy likes the shiny things.)
More deets after the jump, including a quote from Kathy that pretty much sums up why I have such girl-love for her...
US Magazine reports:
"We spotted Griffin with boyfriend and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak at the Emmys, and the fiery comic was sporting what appeared to be an engagement ring. “I don’t kiss and tell,” the usually forthcoming Griffin said.
The couple did reveal that they met in Saratoga where Wozniak came to see Griffin perform.
“I was a fan of hers before we met,” he tells Us. “I love her personality and her quick thinking. I think we have so much in common.”
Quips Griffin, who later shared chocolate covered strawberries with Wozniak at the Entertainment Tonight party at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, “The thing is he doesn’t realize that I am the brains of the operation and he is like some dumb bimbo that I picked up!”
The "brains of the operation" was on Larry King Live last night gushing even further about her new love...in her own brash, offensive, and funny way. She asked King, " What do you make, Lar? You make a few million a year? He craps that out for lunch. I mean this guy has so much money -- but I love him for his personality."
(HAHAHAHA!)
When later pressed by King to define the status of her relationship with Wozniak, Griffin coyly replied, "I like him in a boy-girl way."

I adore her. I can't say enough about her. How about her buying drinks for all the Griffiths in the county where her dad was from when he died. She rocks.

I love her. I love her so much. One of the best things I've ever done, ever, was decide to see her live. I laughed so hard I was hoarse.
I suppose she can marry him, although I always had secret hopes that she would marry Eddie Izzard and have the funniest, most menacingly funny babies ever produced.

I LOVE her! And I LOVE her show! And was so happy she won an Emmy. Especially since she beat out stupid Ty Pennington.
Good for her! She deserves a good man! I hope they are happy. And please start a new season of My Life on the D List A-SAP.

I love her so much. I think she should get a second reality show that just has her following Lindsay Lohan around making fun of her.

I know, she's one of my guilty pleasures--I feel like I should find her kind of annoying and press-whorish and abrasive, since she is, a bit. But yet, I adore her. Any time she has a stand-up show on tv, I watch, and I tried to talk my husband (who also gets a kick out of her, and no, he's not gay) to pony up the cash for tickets when she was in Chicago last year, but no such luck. :(

I like her, too. But, she's kinda starting to look a little bit like a female Carrot Top. Don't hit me!

I remember when you were all "I'm sorry, I don't Loooooooove Kathy Griffin like you do." when I was talking about her show.
How you've changed. haha.

Y - You were my inspiration. I ADMIT IT, OKAY?

I love her humor, but have to admit that I hate looking at her. She looked much better before all that surgery.

i love her because she acts all evil and is secretly not -- she does a lot of good things for people, bless her heart. i hope they are getting married, and that she's happy.

I just love Kathy Griffith, and am so happy for her Emmy win. I absolutely loved her "Jesus had nothing to do with this" emmy speech. She is one hard-working lady and deserves every bit of her success!
My favorite bit of hers is when she freely admits to being passive-aggressive and hates it when celebs want to confront her. She puts on her prissy face and says, "Umm...no...I'd rather talk about you behind your back. It's called MANNERS..."

That's fantastic! She won't have to worry like with her last husband- who stole money from her and kind of used her.
On her show she has always said it's not about looks with her so I totally believe she could be into him.
Love love love her- she's one of my idols.

I think her brand of humor was funnier while she was climbing up. Now I feel about her the way I used to about Joan Rivers, very mixed. Yes, she's edgier and funnier than Joan ever was, but still, she's made a name as the great offender. Well, she offends me even when I see her as a very clever comic.
I hate lazy mockery. The kind where a tired old joke goes on and on, never letting the victim up for air. Kathy is on her way to being part of what she mocks. If she can still see the world through the eyes of d-lister, good for her. But, I suspect there's a whole bunch of hypocrisy that already exist between what she mocks and her own life.
