America's Next Top Model: A New Season - That's right folks, a new season of Top Model starts tonight at 8 pm ET, and we'll be opening a thread to discuss all the tears, arguments, and horrible first photo shoots! Can't wait to see what Miss Jay will do to "remember" all the girls as they get kicked off! Gossip Girl Robyn will be leading the discussion, although I believe most of us MamaPop betches will be joining in because DUDE. ANTM IS TEH AWESOME.

In a more controversial corner, the Lovely Mrs. Davis will be moderating an open thread for Kid Nation. Wooooo boy.  Will this show be an affront to all that is decent and good...or will it (please God) just be an AWESOME affront to all that is decent and good? Find out tonight at 8 pm ET.

And oh yeah. Top Chef is still on. Dear Lord, deliver us from this season and into the sweet, sweet return of Project Runway (starts November 14th! wheeeeee!). At least our TC open threads are still a hot plate of awesome, so join us at 10 pm ET.

I totally didn't even know that ANTM was starting. Sadly, we did away with the deluxe satellite, so no more Bravo for me.

I wish Tyra would stop trying to model (i hate the part of the show right before Judges panel where they show her picture that is somewhat like the challenge the contestants are going through) She is the most annoying part of the show!That being said, I will ofcourse tune in to watch.

I'll be missing ANTM this season. Well, missing it is maybe not the right word. Tyra has gotten on my nerves increasingly. If it was less of her and more of the models, I'd like it more. It's like she's trying to start her own cult. Someone replaced her with an alien. I like Twiggy because she gives constructive criticism, but I definitely miss Janice. Janice in little doses is a lotta fun.

Tyra is the most annoying part of the show, yes, but she's also its most gloriously campy aspect. Taking away Tyra would be taking away the ridiculous spirit of the show. What fun is it to watch a bunch of skinny morons if you don't have an Oprah wannabe in a turban and gigundo fake eyelashes berating them for not "making it fashion"

And Cheryl--ANTM is on the CW, which, to my understanding, is broadcast tv, and not cable. You may yet be able to watch it!
