Ellen Pompeo Gets Hitched at City Hall

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery (a music producer who is apparently best known for being linked to Pompeo) tied the knot last Friday in a super-small ceremony at New York's City Hall.  Other than Mayor Michael Bloomberg serving as a witness, there was no other celebrity-spotting or hob-knobbing going on there.  The couple had made it known that they weren't planning a big wedding, but why did they really get married on the sneak?

Privacy schmivacy, Ellen.  "We want one thing to ourselves," you said in an interview back in August.  Yeah, yeah, sure.

The real reason you kept this all hush-hush was SO WE WOULD NEVER SEE HOW YOU WORE YOUR HAIR.

I'm not terribly nosy, and don't usually have a need to see pictures of celebrity weddings or babies or whatnot, but I feel like I've lost out on something big here.  Did she wear her hair up?  Or down?  Did she find a way to make it do something other than HANG THERE?  Because if there ever was an occasion for having a good hair day, it would be one's wedding day.

I don't even care much what she wore.  Or how the groom looked.  Or if she held a bouquet.  All I want is a peek at the hair.

I have never understood what the big deal was about her. She's skinny and kinda bitchy (from all accounts), has little to no sense of style, and plays, well, whiny people. She's pretty enough but honestly what is the allure?
