Jonathan Rhys Meyers Throws a Kingly Tantrum and Gets Arrested

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is clearly into method acting.   After cavorting drunkenly about Dublin airport (and what better airport to do that in, I ask?) he was declared unfit to fly.  He apparently informed a female attendant  "I will get on this flight, no matter what...." 

He then grabbed this fair young wench and kissed her firmly on the mouth.  He passed triumphantly through the passenger gate, a commanding glint in his eye, as she watched on in panting disbelief.   

The couple are now engaged.

Well, obviously I made that last bit up (and, yes, I *am* that flight attendant...) (in my dreams). 

But it looks like despite his best efforts Rhys Meyers has decidedly fallen off the wagon and gone Pillaging Rock Star again.  Rhys Meyers was in Dublin to appear on an Irish talk show and promote his new film, August Rush, costarring Robin Williams.  After being drunken, disorderly, and generally disturbing the peace at the airport, the actor did *not* make it onto the plane. Instead he was locked up for the night and released on bail this morning.  He faces the courts and lots of paparazzi cameras next month.
