The writers are still on strike, just in case you were wondering. Let me remind you to stay updated with the latest developments at Deadline Hollywood or United Hollywood. I guess the biggest news was our favorite SNL members taking over the Upright Citizens Brigade theater to raise money to support those left jobless as a result of the strike. There have been a few non-strike related announcement made this week. Or at least some only partially related to the strike. Because, really, isn't it all about the strike right now?
- The strike has spread to Canada! The Canada productions of Bionic Woman and Battlestar Galactica have halted as a result of the writer's strike. The article continues by siting what other Canadian productions will be following suit. On the list is Supernatural, Reaper, and Aliens in America. Man. No one is safe.
- Jason Bateman confirms to Kristin on E! that he believes an Arrested Development reunion will happen. Kristin petitions Mr. Hurwitz to bump this to the top of his To Do List post-strike. I beg of the same from him. I would love to have the Bluths back. I miss them so.
- The strike isn't preventing networks from promising full-seasons to more shows. ABC has just given Dirty Sexy Money a full season order. I watched the first several episodes of this show, and then missed a few. I'm not sure if I'll stick with it, no matter how much I love Donald Sutherland in it. Are you watching it?
- My least favorite Gilmore Girl is returning to work. Alexis Bledel has signed on for the lead in a comedy from Fox Atomic. It will be about a woman who has to move back home after college and the hijinks that follow.

The big fear with BSG is that it will mess with the final episodes and the fans might never get closure. I am not happy about this, though I fully support Ron Moore and others with their stance on the strike.
I watched several episodes of Dirty, Sexy Money and liked it, but have also fallen away from it--just not as passionate about it as some of the other shows I'm watching.
