The Writers' Strike: Why They Fight

Here's a simple, yet insightful explanation of the writers' strike from United Hollywood.  If you're confused about why the writers are striking, this should clear things up for you.

I've been glad to see so many actors and other celebs out supporting the writers on strike -- Tina Fey, Chris Meloni, Eva Longoria. I'm standing with the writers on this, but I'm starting to worry about how long this will go on.  Six months from now, if this is still unresolved, I'll be sitting in front of my dark TV, imagining my own episodes of "Lost" and "Friday Night Lights."  Please don't let it be.
