Tori Amos: "Get the F*** Out of My Show."
Why did Tori Amos, pictured above looking fairly friendly and non-threatening, tell two fans to get the f*** out of her show last Wednesday?
While it isn't clear from this video why Amos stopped a performance to curse at and banish some fans, or why the rest of the show-goers seemed really over-excited about this course of action, her rep later told TMZ, "Tori doesn't sell front row seats to her shows. She'll pick fans that are in the back row and she will upgrade them. It is a privilege to get picked. Apparently these two girls were on their cell phones all night... It was her sticking up for her other fans that missed out on the opportunity."
It's no secret (and please don't flame me to death, Tori fans - I know this probably makes me the Antichrist, but have a little mercy) that I'm not really all that into Ms. Amos's music, but after watching this, I am kind of thinking I'd like to ask her to accompany me the next time I ride in the Quiet Car on the train. Heh.

I can not stand Tori Amos. I find her totally unbearable, but I think cell phoning after being given special perks is totally rude. Good for her.

Sils, word. Talking on your cell phone at a show is seven kinds of dumb, anyway. They had that coming.

So is talking on your cell in the Quiet Car. I have put the smack down on more than a few violators of that rule, and I'm not ashamed.

I really want to toss people's phones out on to the tracks when they do that, seriously. It's unbelievably rude.
