And Now For Some Happier News: Jenna Fischer Is Not Dating David Spade
The interwebs have been pretty dark since yesterday's terrible news about Heath Ledger. Which is why you will all be relieved to learn that there is still some sunshine and rainbows in the universe, and they have appeared in the form of Jenna Fischer's latest blog entry:
(Regarding a magazine story that claimed that The Office actress was dating David Spade, which, ew) "Imagine my surprise as I'VE NEVER MET [him]! What a milestone! My first TOTALLY 100% UNTRUE tabloid report!"
(Cue mass, collective wiping of brows and sighing of relief.)
That is some good news. It was bad enough that she had to tongue-kiss Jon Heder (which, ew-ew-ew-ew-I-DO-NOT-get-his-appeal-ew) in Blades of Glory (yes, I saw that; wanna make something of it?), which I could barely handle, but sex with David Spade? Not tolerable, for her or her fans or any human witness.
So, yeah, this is good. There must be a God that really does watch over Hollywood, sometimes, when He's not busy snorting crack or lounging with divine hookers or working on his latest pitch. Thanks be to Him.

From what I understand, Jenna is way way too old for David. He likes them young (like 20) and as models.

From what I understand, she was the exception. He generally does like them younger and waifish-ly thin.
