Montel Williams Is No More (!?!?!?!?!?!?)
The world of lie-detector tests, paternity tests, boot camp, and "oh, no she didn't!" has been dealt a huge blow. The Montel Williams Show will cease production after this year.
I don't even know what to say, man. When I was in college, I used to wake up, pour myself a big bowl of cereal, and then watch oversexed 14-year-old girls scream at their weeping mothers on Montel. Then I would absorb about 15 minutes' worth of commercials for correspondence school and realize that I was part of a rather odd demographic.
Farewell, Montel. I will miss you.

I wonder if it was his own decision. Perhaps his MS has gotten worse than he lets on? Though he continually says that with the proper diet, he's doing great. Sylvia Browne is really the only guest he has on these days - maybe she's bored with it.
My freshman year of college, I went with a frat I hung out with to a day of Montel tapings - it was a fundraiser for the frat. It was interesting, I guess (translation: booooring). More than anything, I found it amusing that during every commercial break, Montel had to have his bald head powdered. ;)

And we can't forget "Sylvia Browne Wednesdays" now can we? *gag*

I was just going to say, how the hell is Sylvia Browne going to hawk her new book a week habit now? I used to like it when she was on, mebbe once a month... once every two months... but this once a week b.s. is just... b.s.
I don't watch Montel or Maury anymore.

I have never been a Montel fan, but admired his personal struggle with MS. Perhaps he's tired of being one of many lumped in with Jerry Springer?
