People Picks Over the Grammy Fashion Donations Bag
People magazine has a fantastic sense of humor. Witness some examples from their recent "50 Most Memorable Grammy Looks" feature:
Those were the days! When Britney was still a Disney princess and Madonna was -- well, what is that exactly? My eighth grade yearbook was full of curling-wand experiments like that but most of those girls went back to Supercuts and made Tina do it over until it feathered all the way back.
But I have to say, I love musicians, they work the red carpet with their hands in the air like they just don't care. Nipples showing through your dress? Great! Tentacle braids? Don't mind if I do!
Oh, Courtney, I want to remember you just like this, as a fun-loving Boticelli's Venus on meth with NORMAL LIPS.

Madonna's stylist before that show:
"Psst. Madge! Um....Spanx aren't really...outerwear. Like, they don't even work as underwear-as-outerwear. You're not really going out like th....okay, you're the boss."

I like that picture of Gwen, because it proves that she makes mistakes, too :)
And now I must run away from that hairdo.

Awww, I remember the days when Madonna wasn't all, what's the word, sinewy. And is that a Koolaid stain on Gwen Stephani's skirt?

I never did understand Madonna's caprihose. I just figured it was me and yet another thing I didn't understand about "fashion." :)

"Feathered all the way back" - HAHAHA! Thank God the 70s are over.

Oh Mrs. Kennedy you are a mamapop goddess. You need a culture magazine column, STAT. Or maybe a magazine. It could be called "The Mrs."
