SNL Returns, Rejoice!
Finally, there's something to watch on Sunday mornings besides how to stencil your own tote bags shows on public television! Not that I ever sunk that low during the writer's strike. Ahem.
For da ladies, a fresh commercial parody from SNL, featuring guest host Tina Fey:
And the good news is that thanks to the new writer's deal, the rate of writer's compensation for ad-supported electronic sell-through downloads has been raised from a flat rate of $600 per 26 weeks per 100,000 downloads to a percentage of 0.036% of distributors' gross of any ad revenue generated by said streaming after an initial window of 17 days starting in three years! Which means the writers of the clip above will get...um... I dunno. Will I have to mail them a check?
Thank you for being back in my life, Tina. Now please go write a few hundred dozen eps of 30 Rock.
