"The Happening" Trailer
UPDATE: New video source after jump! Quick -- watch before they take it down!
I hadn't heard anything about this new M. Night Shyamalan project due out in June until this morning, and even after some digging I've been unable to get much detail about the plot of "The Happening" (surprise, surprise) beyond the enigmatic one-line synopsis: "A paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity."
My guess is that this film is going to do for our current environmental crisis what "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers" did for McCarthyism. Awesome!
Wait -- I mean BOO! HISS! heh.
Oh and did I mention Marky Mark is playing the lead? HEART!
Sweet teaser-trailer ackshon after the jump...
Man, wild horses couldn't keep me away. I love that creeptastic Shyamalan dude. You?

Dagnabit. Count me in as being a big M. Night fan and I sure would have loved to see that trailer. I saw the poster when my family dragged me to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks" over New Years (gah) and new the moment I saw it that this was a movie that I must see. After all, who can pass up "Signs" when it's on TNT for the umpteenth time?

Why do they always end up in an old farm house in the middle of a field. People! Bad stuff happens in old farm houses in the middle of fields!
I heart Mark Wahlberg.

I hate scary movies, but LOVE his movies. It looks phenomenal. I can't wait for it to be released!!!!
And I agree. <3 Marky Mark. Esp. the kiss from Invincible.

Dang, the new source isn't working either. On another note, I don't get why a lot of people rag on M. Night. I mean, sure he's kind of full of himself, what will having to put himself in all his movies, and making himself the messiah-like character in Lady in the Water, but...damn, his movies are cool! I especially loved The Village, and thought Bryce looked superhot in it. (It gets bonus props for having my secret boyfriend, Michael Pitt, in it!)

I, too, am quite the M. Night fan! I'm so glad he's got another movie coming out--I hope we got more info soon (though not TOO much, of course! :).

I like the M. Night even though I'm not a huge Marky Mark fan (mainly because he hates being called Marky Mark).
