The Stars Are Just Like Us! They Drink Ketchup!
I don't care what anybody says: drinking ketchup - as Miley Cyrus did on Leno the other night - straight out of a bottle IS NOT NORMAL. And I say this as a pregnant woman who has been trying to grill chocolate in a cast-iron skillet and who would, were the ground not entirely frozen up here in Canadialand, seriously consider spooning some dirt onto a double-decker fig-newton garnished ice cream sundae (am anemic; leave me alone). I know from weird cravings, and a craving for ketchup, straight-up from the squeeze bottle? BEYOND weird.
So, even though I know that Miley Cyrus is just trying to be all 'hey, y'all, I'm just a regular ol' wacky girl' here? Seeing this pic - and the accompanying video - just makes me a) believe even more firmly that growing up in a mullet-household just really does mess a kid up, and b) crave a whole lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and pickles.
(See video here. DO NOT watch if the sight of teenage popstars chugging condiments makes you queasy, or prone to raiding the fridge for entire jars of pickles.)

Yuck.
And I don't have anything against ketchup on french fries, burgers, hot dogs, etc. My husband even introduced me to the concept of ketchup & scrambled eggs. But straight?
Ew.
Maybe she is a fan of the tomatoes & high-fructose corn syrup combo?
Gross.
I think I've made my point.

Ketchup, really? Ew. That's not right on several levels.

Miley + ketchup = evil

I knew a girl in HS who would get extra ketchup packets from restaurants for that same reason.
I must leave immediately because I am seriously gonna hurl if I give it anymore thought!

KayTar likes me to put mustard straight from the squeeze bottle onto her finger for her to eat...but she's 3 and has a feeding disorder. LOL. What's Miley's excuse? ;)

I've seen Miley in just that pose, but she wasn't holding a ketchup bottle!

I knew a girl in high school that would mix that with hot water to make tomato soup. (I think that's worse than ketchup straight out of the squeeze bottle.)
And to Ed Rendell - Gross. She's 15, and that was so uncalled for.
