Amy Winehouse Cleared of Charges

Authorities have decided not to take further action in connection with the ongoing investigation into an alleged attempt to pervert justice. 

In December, Winehouse was arrested, and later released, in connection with an alleged plan to derail a criminal case against her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.  Last week, Fielder-Civil plead not guilty to charges stemming from the pub brawl.  Amy was not at the hearing.  A source close to Winehouse says, "She's a mess at the moment. I don't think she's visiting him much either."

Amy's rep said, "Amy is pleased to be discounted from the investigation and thanks the police for their professionalism in their dealings with her."  "Police have confirmed that Winehouse is no longer a suspect in the case."
