Aw, Matzah!
Adam Sandler pulled his English bulldog, Matzah Ball, out of the surf yesterday during the filming of something or other on the beach in Santa Monica. Matz! Don't you know bulldogs sink?! Fortunately, Sandler averted tragedy and snatched his sidekick from the briney depths. Hooray!
And just in case you never saw it, after the jump is the clip from Sandler's stint on Letterman. His first guest steals the show.

Actually that's not matzoball. Adam got a new puppy because Matzoball died a few months ago. The dog in the video clip from Letterman is Matzo (notice how much bigger she is than the other dog). The dog he pulled from the surf (a puppy about half the size) is the new dog he got to replace Matzo. Her name is babu.
