Halle Berry's Baby-Daddy To Be A Hubby? (Say That Fast Five Times)

So, hey! Halle Berry finally had her baby, which is, you know, all kinds of awesome. I hope that you've all sent off your cards and letters of congratulations and any hand-knitted baby booties that you were working on. J-Lo doesn't need them, what with all that diamond-encrusted cashmere layette shiz and all, so you should just pass them along to Halle.

I guess what you're all wondering now is, when's Halle going to make an honest man out of that model-dude who knocked her up?

The fast answer is: never. The longer answer is: never, ever.

Halle said, just last week, that she never wants to be a bride in the future (she's been married twice before to baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet): "I will never marry again. I have a good healthy love for myself and love in my life. I no longer feel the need to be someone's wife and I don't need the validation of a marriage certificate."

What that means for her relationship with Gabriel Aubry: "Gabriel is a wonderful person and I am just happy I've found someone really special to have a baby with. In a way, I feel more married than I ever have in two marriages."

She also said: "Gabriel and I have decided to redefine marriage for ourselves."

Confusing? Yeah, a little. If you like the idea of marriage so much that you claim to be 'more married' and 'redefining marriage', then why not, you know, just go for it and make it work? Whatever, though. They seem kinda sweet and they have that gorgeous new baby, so why not let them decide for themselves how they want their household to look?

Congrats again, Halle and Gabriel!

I'm old-fashioned in the sense that I love being married, but I can see why she's gun-shy (ring-shy?): her first husband beat her and made her deaf in one ear, the second one was a sex addict (although, apparently, a REALLY dumb sex addict because he was boffing everyone besides Halle Berry. Hellloooo?!? I think most anyone - straight women included! - would boff Halle Berry if given the chance!).
