Richie Sambora Arrested for DUI With His Daughter in the Car

Richie Sambora was arrested for DUI in Laguna Beach, California on March 25th.  Police pulled him over for driving erratically, and he failed numerous road side sobriety tests.  And, get this, his 10 year old daughter Ava was in the car along with his girlfriend and another minor.  He refused a breathalyzer and took a blood test instead.

Oh Richie, so not a good idea.  Besides a DUI charge you are looking at child endangerment and a visit from child protective services.  And if Heather Locklear does not file for a change in custody and visitation I'll be shocked.

Police Sgt. Jason Kravetz tells PEOPLE "he smelled of alcohol," and he was "quiet and cooperative and he didn't cause any problems."   Richie was released and is to be arraigned on May 7.  Richie's rep has made no statements.

Richie went to rehab twice in 2007, both times for alcohol related issues.

I saw Bon Jovi when they were in DC last month and I was convinced Richie was drunk then.  Looks like he has fallen off the wagon.

Yeah, the last time he said, "I went to detox, not rehab". Good job. Shows that you have to do the time to get the results. I hope his daughter will forgive him for this- not sure his ex-wife will.
