Tyra, Leaving ANTM? Noooooooo.....!!!!
TYRA BANKS LEAVING AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL?
(*head explodes*)
Seriously. How could such a thing even be possible? There is no ANTM without Tyra. There's no fierce, no smile with your eyes, no work it, no that's not very modelesque, no that's a little too hoochy mama, no I have in my hands six pictures, no haay-AY.
(Unless, of course, they got Naomi Campbell to take her place, which, omfg, HOW AWESOME would that be? But I digress.)
The story:
APPARENTLY: Tyra has been fighting with Jay Manuel who is like totally in need of a Miss Clairol rinse but that's beside the point anyway they've like totally been fighting and Tyra's just sick of it and doesn't want to do this shit anymore because O HAI she's got like this talk show yanno and also that music career that just never goes anywhere because she's just too busy playing Miss-Jean-Brodie-with-a-weave to random packs of ungrateful wannabe models and who does Mrs. Jay think he is anyway because like SHE MADE HIM and he's like totally ungrateful and she'll show them she'll just WALK and THAT will be THAT.
Or, if you prefer, the version of the story being shared by 'unnamed sources": “She’s really throwing all her weight behind her talk show,” according to a source familiar with “The Tyra Banks Show.” “She’s putting lots of pressure on her staff to keep her show on the map. She had Barack Obama on, she had Hilary Clinton on — she got a taste of playing with the big boys and now ‘Top Model’ seems to detract from her big plans.”
Got that? Tyra wants to be the next Jon Stewart. But, you know, black, female and FIERCE. Between shooting videos for the re-release of Touch Ma Body, of course.
I say, get Naomi Campbell on the phone, STAT.
(Who'd you pick to replace her?)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I am an ANTM addict!!! I just hope they find a suitable replacement instead of canceling the show (because don't know if I could live wihtout my weekly Nigel fix either ;) )

Waaaaah! She also said something to this effect in her Entertainment Weekly cover story. Seriously, it's a sad day. Those ungrateful teenagers make her look so good. And I don't know that I can follow her all the way to her talk show, either...

So, I totally think the show has been barely worth watching since Janice left. I've been relying on Four-Four recaps to keep it entertaining for me.
I vote for Janice. Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants?

This CANNOT be true. I will not stand for it. This is a sad, sad day.
