Winona Ryder's Been Caught Stealin'. AGAIN.
Hey, remember back in the day ("back in the day" = about 6 years ago) when Winona Ryder was caught stealing from the Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills? Because, like, her film career tanked so hard she didn't have enough money to actually BUY her clothes, like normal people? (OMFSNORT!) Well, it appears that despite being found guilty of theft and sentenced to 3 years probation and 480 hours of community service in 2002, 36-year-old Ryder decided to apply her own special 5-finger-discount to some makeup at a Beverly Hills CVS last week. (Rolls eyes)
The Daily Mail reports:
A store employee is quoted as saying: “Winona had a bag of stuff, but she set off the theft alarm when she left the store. When a security guard stopped her, he found make-up she had not paid for.” And when she was asked about the make-up, Winona answered: “I don’t know how that happened.” The store employee added: “We took unpaid items back and she left the store.”
Winona’s publicist at first denied the incident took place. But when told a store employee had confirmed it, said she would check with her again.
"Check with her again"? Like, oh, maybe she forgot about that whole getting caught for shoplifting last week thing? Oh pah-leese.
Listen, I loved Ryder back in her Edward Scissorhands and Heathers heyday just like everybody else (what was that, twenty years ago now?! Talk about resting on laurels, man). But between her years of very public serial monogamy with just about every single eligible rock dude on the face of planet earth, and her pulling stupid crap like this, I'm SO TOTALLY DONE WITH HER. THE. END.
(Psst! Plus, hell-o, she's really not that good of an actress. SRSLY.)

Um, seriously? Drugstore makeup? I'm sure she can afford to buy her own damn Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara. I mean c'mon!

She's beautiful but her acting always seemed to depend on her being herself. Somebody get her a modeling job while there's still time!

I don't know why, but I've always sort of felt sorry for her. Probably something to do with loving those early movies of hers like "Mermaids" and god, "Edward Scissorhands"... so good. It's such a weird desperate grab for attention that smacks of needing some serious therapy.
