Sean Penn & Robin Wright Penn: So Totally Not Divorcing Now
That's right! Guess who is no longer up for destroying 11 years of marriage and wrecking the emotional lives of their two teenage sons? Woo-hoo!
US Weekly reports:
Sean Penn’s divorce to Robin Wright Penn has been called off.
Court officials confirm to Extra that a dismissal was filed and granted on Tuesday.
The same day, Extra reported the pair hit an Eddie Vedder concert in San Francisco, where Penn, 47 — who flirted with Petra Nemcova at the Oscars — dedicated a song to his wife, 42, on stage for her birthday.
He originally filed divorce papers in Marin County December 7, his attorney Mindy Ross told Usmagazine.com, but the petition was dismissed December 18.
On December 21, she filed her own request for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Penn’s divorce papers listed November 30 as the date of their separation; she listed the split date as December 1.
The couple, who have been married for over 11 years, have two kids: Dylan Francis, 16, and Hopper Jack, 14.
So I guess love and romance IS still alive in cynical Hollywood, eh? Well, that or Sean failed to score with 28-year-old Petra Nemcova and realized that, duh, he had it pretty good at home.
Why are men so predictable and dumb? WHY?
Anyway, our best to the Penns. Even without the spotlight's glare, keeping a marriage together is, in my humble opinion, something worth celebrating.

I was at that concert!!! and I was like, did he just say Robin (when he dedicated the song) because I thought they were divorcing!! Glad that they aren't.
BTW, that concert was AWE-SOME!!
i think eddie vedder should be featured in friday eye candy. he's short but soooo hot.

Nice to see them trying again. Perhaps now she can turn her attention to Joanne Fabrics, where they just might have something to lengthen that skirt a bit.

On a bitchy judgemental note, Robin looks like she's been rode hard and put up wet. I mean, is that style of dress flattering on anybody?
(Spoken from enviable position of sitting at computer wearing husband's cardigan, dirty shirt and pants that are too tight and feeling/looking/acting shitty because I am tired and on my period)

I'm glad they're staying together. Because they seem like they truly love and respect each other.
Now - I'm glad others are thinking what I'm thinking: what is up with that mess she's wearing? She normally looks stunning. In this get-up? Um...aging drag queen comes to mind.
