Shout Out to Mah OG YouTube Homies: Video Fun With Margaret Seltzer

Y'all haven't forgotten about this jackass yet, right?

Harry Allen at Media Assassin has somehow managed to get his bloggy little hands on a promotional video for Margaret "Peggy" "P-Dawg" Seltzer's fake memoir Love and Consequences, in which she sits in front of some tract housing in what looks to be a very well-manicured part of South Central LA (I bet there's a Starbucks!) and spews her fake, fake gangbanger fake bullshit. Complete with big hoop earnings and an accent that veers wildly between gangsta and Southern drawl and Valley Girl and back again, girlfriend just spins lie after lie after lie, and really, she's not even that good at it, RIVERHEAD PUBLISHING.

And did I mention the BULLSHIT?

Her big homie passed a graduation card around DEATH ROW so everybody could SIGN IT for her? So death row is a lot like my old office, then! See, it ain't so hard out here fo' a pimp.

I wonder if we'll EVER get the real story behind Peggy and her pathological lying ass and her tattle-tale older sister and seriously, did she just start believing her own bullcrap at some point? did she think she'd get away with it because she's delusional? how long has she been living this random lie and like, what's your DAMAGE, Peggy?

That might be the most hysterical thing I've seen. I'd love to cross-examine her, I give her story 5 seconds before falling apart.

holy crap. did her publisher never visit eugene? or even google it? because i really did go to the university of oregon (nobody cried when they handed me my diploma) and so is she saying that she is counseling the little kids who are headed into gangs in EUGENE? because thank god. those granola-eating, recycling-every-single thing-in-our-houses, composting-in-our-backyards, "let's just hug it out" people have been desperately needing to do something about the violent GANG problems in that city.

Thank heavens she was exposed for the fraud she is. I could only imagine what would have happened had she gotten away with it. And I'm sure the book would have been a bestseller, and that Oprah would have chosen it for her book club and catapulted her to fame. Hooray for Karma!
